DTA Fabrication 1996-2004 Tacoma SAS 3-Link Kit
Take your 1996-2004 Toyota Tacoma to the next level with DTA Fabrication's 3-Link Solid Axle Swap Kit. Designed for extreme off-road capability while maintaining proper street manners.
Compatible with driver-drop fabricated axles or Rock Assault axles, this system is optimized for 12” stroke 2.0 or 2.5 coilovers. Recommended high pinion setup. Low pinion can be used if you rotate your knuckles keeping your caster at 6-8 with (4*) pinion, dual case or high angle driveline.
Lower links are high clearance. Keeping your lower links as flat as possible for more ground clearance and keeping your suspension radius more natural. You will have less flex steer when in full drop/ compression articulation and a more positive suspension response keeping your front suspension from unloading when being pushed into obstacles.
Recommended Coilover / Spring Rates:
- Top Spring: 10” 200 lb/in
- Bottom Spring: 12” 250 lb/in
Frame Reinforcement Plates
- 3/16” CNC-cut steel plates for superior strength
- Integrated mounting locations for panhard bar and shock towers
- Driver-side plate includes a location for Toyota IFS box mounting
- Slotted shock tower mounts allow 5° or 10° shock placement options
Shock Towers
- 1/4” thick steel to reduce flex under extreme conditions
- Integrated remote reservoir mounts for clean and secure fitment
- No cutting required—fits without modifying your inner fenders
- Doesn't interfere with steering shaft.
Transmission Crossmember – Strong & Serviceable
- Direct weld-in replacement for the factory crossmember
- 3-piece design allows easy transmission removal without disturbing lower links
- Made from 1/4” and 3/16” CNC-cut steel for maximum durability
- Modification required for dual transfer case setups (mount ships loose)
Link Mounts – Engineered for Strength
- 1/4” thick steel brackets for superior durability
- Built-in bump stop pads to absorb hard landings
- Link Mounts weld to the top quarter of the axle tube giving more ground clearance.
- Optimized upper link mounts for maximum frame clearance and easy access
Suspension Links – Pre-Welded & Ready to Install
- Lower links: 2” x .250” wall DOM tubing with your choice of 1.25” Heim joints or Enduro joints
- Upper link: 1.5” x .250” wall DOM tubing with 3/4” Heim joints
Panhard Bar – Built for Precision Handling
- 1.5” x .250” wall DOM tubing—straight design for superior strength
